A very attractive 1877 CC seated liberty quarter graded MS 61 by PCGS. It carries a fantastic strike throughout both sides with very mark free surfaces for the grade. We believe this coin would likely grade a point or more higher today. It has been housed in an old time PCGS Green Label Holder.
This Carson City Mint date holds a total mintage of 4,192,000. However, of this larger mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 19 graded Mint State 61 by PCGS.
