A gorgeous 1870 better date seated liberty quarter graded AU 50 by ANACS. This attractive coin carries appealing vibrant blue toning around the rims of both sides. A very tough Philadelphia Mint coin to find that is rare to come by in this grade level. This coin has been housed in an old time 1980’s small size style ANACS holder.
This date holds a low mintage of only 86,400. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 500 have survived in all grades today!
